For many years, the entertainment industry had epic control over how its artists were viewed in the public. They were shaped and moulded, reconstructed and carefully delivered in a new and more interesting package. Online video sharing is changing all that. This is a video of now pop singer Lady Gaga “before she was famous.” Unlike many other pop stars, she is actually talented. But not the same image you see now. With uploaders everywhere armed with small cameras, celebs are faced to face their old personas. On the upside, artists like LGG might win over some new fans. Others will perceive her new look as a Hollywood charade. But one thing is for sure, one has to be mighty consistent in ones life to have just one persona out there for everyone to dissect.
